Chlorine in shower water often dries out the skin and hair. For people with sensitive skin, it can also cause irritation. The filter removes most of the chlorine, so over time the skin and hair become softer and healthier.
The filter also reduces limescale buildup on tiles and glass surfaces. This is usually noticeable within a few weeks.
ShowerPro Diamond makes shower water clean, clear, and free from unwanted substances.
ShowerPro Diamond has a capacity of approximately 8,000–12,000 liters, depending on water quality. After this period, the filter material is depleted and can no longer absorb chlorine and other substances.
In addition, replacement filters are made from organic materials that can support bacterial growth with prolonged use. Bacteria can accumulate behind the filter and contaminate the water. This is normal for all filters containing organic materials, regardless of the number of people in the household or whether the filter has not been used for some time.
Keep in mind that service life may vary depending on the number of people in the household.
Cleaning the filter is not required. If you still want to clean it or limescale has built up on the housing, you can use water and vinegar.
Important: the refill (filter) cannot be washed, so remove it before cleaning the exterior.
